Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have any question?
Every situation is different. We take the time to understand yours before recommending any form of care.
What types of patients does Rose for Care accept?
Rose for Care accepts adult patients and guests across a range of situations: those recovering from surgery or a hospital admission, individuals managing a chronic condition on a long-term basis, international patients requiring step-down care in Nairobi, and individuals seeking a structured short stay for rest and recovery. We are not an emergency or acute care facility.
Is Rose for Care a hospital?
No. Rose for Care is a clinically governed residential facility. We sit between acute hospital care and returning home — providing registered nursing oversight in a private setting, without the environment or constraints of a hospital ward
What does a typical day at Rose for Care look like?
Each resident’s day is organised around their care plan. This typically includes a morning nursing assessment, therapeutic meals, scheduled physiotherapy or pool time, massage, and an evening nursing review. Wellness guests follow a separate schedule designed around rest, nutrition, and physical recovery.
Can family members visit?
Yes. Family visits are welcome within agreed hours. Common areas are available for visits, and family members may share meals with residents. The clinical team provides regular updates and is available to speak with family by telephone.
Do you accept international patients and diaspora Kenyans?
Yes. We receive diaspora Kenyans and international patients coming to Nairobi for medical procedures or extended care. Our clinical team is experienced in managing patients without a local support network. A number of our services are quoted in USD for the convenience of patients paying from abroad.
